Sidewalk Paint

Yesterday Moments of Mommyhood posted about homemade sidewalk paint. I thought it sounded like fun so that's what we did today. It's a very easy recipe and I halfed what she made.

We were having off and on rain so we painted the porch instead of the sidewalk.

I love the way it looks like chalk when it dries.

Not surprisingly, blue was the first to go. Actually, it turned into "preschool brown".

Letting the paint drip from the brush was fun too.

Look how neat the drips look!

Using spoons to pour the paint.

All done!

The art work when dry:

The rain started again...good thing we painted the porch instead of the sidewalk!

Even more excitement! Construction trucks!

Getting wet is so much fun!

Great for little chalk stubs that are too short to use without scraping fingers!

  3. This is great! I love how much fun they had! I can't wait to try it! First, I'll have to go buy a muffin tin from the Thrift Store.
